Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor, born on October 17, 1992. Her films are mainly produced in Tamil or Telugu however she appears in a few Malayalam ones. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the role of actress Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actor for children. Then, following a course in the field of Fashion Design, she re-entered acting. She had her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. Even though the film was not a success at the box-office, her debut film was A. A. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005), which she starred in opposite Vikramprabhu. To accommodate larger projects, she was forced to cancel projects she'd been working on for a while. This include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two film. Also, Dhanush and she played the lead roles on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. In 2015, the film was delayed, and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will debut in September 2020. Subsequently, the debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa written by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay. Keerthy has also appeared as a Tamil actress in Paambhu Saattai and as a Telugu actor on Nenu Local.
