Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin has been a mental health and comedian advocate, writer, and director on YouTube since 2015. Her previous job was as an editor at BuzzFeed Video. She left the firm in 2015 to start her comedian YouTube channel Just Between Us with Gabe Dunn who is a writer with whom she collaborates. Raskin was born June 20, 1989 at Manhattan, New York to the family of a Jewish family. She earned her degree from The University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is a prominent American attorney, law professor, and politician, serving as an official U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district since the year 2017. Lead prosecutor of Trump's Second Impeachment Trial was a law school professor. Rep. Jamie Raskin decided not to run for Maryland's vacant Senate seat. Instead, he will run for reelection to the House in the hope that to be chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Nearby to Washington, D.C., the 8th District encompasses several of the city's most wealthy suburbs within the inner-ring, such as Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Potomac. Rockville, Silver Spring and others from diverse communities are part of the district. Maryland is among the original thirteen states of America.
