Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Her talents were recognized by a professional who convinced her of her profession choice within the entertainment world. She decided to leave college and go into the industry of entertainment after a lot of contemplation. Her debut came in the movie 'Children of Corn: Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. She put in a lot of effort to improve her acting talents and appeared in a number of films with low budgets to show her abilities. It was not an straightforward path for the actor and her tenacity and patience did not go unrewarded. Her acting career was launched after she received not only praise but also appreciation for her part on Training Day. Her most popular films include 2 Fast and Furious, the Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans, and Holy Motors.
