Cynthia Louise Bissett is the vice president of the mobile operator Verizon. Her father was businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an online network firm. The family she grew up with was Catholic and she was raised in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Her parents enrolled their daughter at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious and elitist institution. It was a passion for her since childhood. The first time she played the piano when she was a little girl. When she was thirteen she penned her first tune. Nights at open mics were her preferred nights. She was a big fan of Queen Michael, Madonna and David Bowie. After high school, she was accepted into New York University's Tisch School of Art to study music. She did not complete her studies, but she left the school to start her music career.
